Comments:
Syracuse jumped to an early lead with five quick baskets, and then coasted sloppily to a 21-5 halftime lead. The two teams played rather even in the second half, but Georgetown could make no progress in cutting into the lead, as a rather listless game was played. [1]
Syracuse's Ev Katz led all scorers with 14 points. It was the second straight game that captain Lou Hayman missed.
