Sam Tarnower was a reserve guard on the Syracuse basketball team for two seasons.. He would play in four games, and scored two points in a lopsided win over Hobart.
Tarnower would graduate from Syracuse University in 1930, and from New York Medical School in 1933. Dr. Samuel Tarnower would pass away in June, 1990.
