Willie Walkov was a reserve on the Syracuse basketball team for three seasons, lettering all three seasons. He was a valuable substitute at all positions, though primarily at the center and rebounding forward.
He was a high school teammate of Syracuse's Dan Fogarty at Holyoke High School. Their 1923-24 Holyoke team went 21-1.
