Attendence

Comments:

Syracuse jumped out to an early 9-1 lead, and by halftime had a 29-14 lead. Syracuse forward Frank Reddout had 10 rebounds in each the first and second quarters, to give him 20 rebounds by end of the first half. Temple would make only 4 out of 35 field goals in the first half of the game.

The third quarter was more competitive, but Temple barely made a dent into the Orangemen lead. Both teams would use reserves in the fourth quarter.

Reddout would finish the game with a Syracuse school record 34 rebounds. He also set the Convention Hall record for rebounds in a quarter (10), half (20) and game (34). Reddout was the leading scorer in the game; Harry Goldstein led Temple with 14. [1]
