Stan Swanson as a forward for Syracuse basketball for three seasons.
Swanson would play in only two games his sophomore season and fail to score.
Swanson would split starting time his junior season with Dick Suprunowicz. Swanson would score a season high 15 points in a win over Niagara in December. Teammate Tom Huggins was getting married in March and thus missed the postseason action in the National Campus Tournament. Swanson would assume his starting position the last two games of the year.
Swanson would miss several games his senior year, and was mostly a reserve. He did score a career high 20 points in a loss to New York University in February.
