The following is a list of those individuals who have received the Vic Hanson Medal of Excellence. This honor is given annually by the Syracuse University Hardwood Club to an individual or individuals who have ties to the men’s basketball program and have made outstanding contributions to college basketball. The award is named after Vic Hanson, the legendary basketball and football star for the Orangemen in the 1920s.
