Bill Bruett was a reserve guard on the Syracuse basketball team for three seasons. He was an outstanding athlete, lettering three times in baseball while playing third base, and playing quarterback on the freshman football team.
Bruett was the younger brother of Jim Bruett, former Syracuse basketball player and football star.
