Herb Foster was a starting forward for Syracuse basketball for two seasons. He was a smooth shooter from the perimeter.
Foster barely played his sophomore season. He became a starter his junior season, and was the team captain his senior season. Foster would lead the Orangemen in rebounding that year with 8.5 rebounds a game, and was second in scoring behind Carl Vernick.
