Comments:
Syracuse played #9 Kentucky down at Lexington. Kentucky was coached by Adolph Rupp, and was known as Rupp's Runts, as none of the starters were over 6'5". Two Kentucky players would scored 30+ points on their way to an easy victory. This would be Syracuse's third consecutive loss in the midst of a six game losing streak.
