Larry Arrington was a reserve guard for Syracuse basketball for two seasons.
Arrington would play a limited role his sophomore and junior seasons, sitting behind players such as Jimmy Williams, Ross Kindel, Jimmy Lee and Larry Kelley.
At the beginning of his senior year, Arrington was informed by new head coach Jim Boeheim that he and teammate Billy Keys would be the 14th & 15th men on the depth chart, with the arrival of four talented freshman [1]. Arrington would quit the team at the end of November, before playing any games. He would remain at Syracuse and complete his degree in 1977.
He later would earn a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from the University of District of Columbia [2]. Arrington would work in Washington D.C.'s social services department.
Arrington passed away in 2014.
