William Mahoney was a forward on the Syracuse basketball team for two seasons. He was described as light and shifty, and was a good shooter [1].
Mahoney would be a starter at the beginning of his second season. However, as sophomore Elmer Keib matured on the court, Mahoney would be replaced by him. The team would go undefeated that season.
