Nick Giancola was a walk-on forward for Syracuse basketball. He was the nephew of Syracuse basketball head coach Jim Boeheim [1], and a cousin of teammates Buddy and Jimmy Boeheim. Giancola was a team manager his freshman season. He transferred to Kentucky for his sophomore season, before returning to Syracuse for his junior season [2].
Giancola would play in five games his junior seasons, failing to score in any of them. He played in one game his senior year, again failing to score though he did get a rebound. He would play in six games as a graduate student, failing to score but gathering three rebounds.
