Milt Katz played varsity basketball for two seasons at Syracuse. Katz was one of the top reserves on the 1930-1931 team, playing both forward and guard positions and was a very speedy player. He was also a star on the Syracuse track team as a sprinter and a broad jumper. He was the brother of Syracuse basketball star Ev Katz.
Katz would serve as a first sergeant in World War II, and would work in the newspaper industry for the Brooklyn Eagle, New York Herald Tribune, and New York World [1].
Katz would pass away in October 1975.
