Jim Nemec was a reserve forward on the Syracuse basketball team for two seasons. He was also a shortstop on the Syracuse baseball team, lettering in 1946 and 1948.
Nemec would play in only one game his sophomore season. He would play in seven games his junior season. He did not return to play for his senior year.
Nemec passed away in 1990.
