Frank Consedine was a forward on the Syracuse varsity basketball team for two seasons. He was also a member of the Syracuse track team.
Consedine would complete his studies at Syracuse after his sophomore season. He would return to his hometown in Olean, New York, and work for the city of Olean. He was the city's first auditor, serving from 1916 to 1918.
Consedine would move into the private sector and work as a trust officer for the First National Bank of Olean from 1918 until his death.
Consedine was very civic minded, and heavily involved in community service. He served on the Olean school board from 1921 until 1930. He was a member of the Olean Chamber of Commerce, a trustee at the Olean Public Library, and was involved with the local Boy Scouts of America, among other activities. [1]
Consedine passed away in 1930 at the age of 47.
He is referred to in the Syracuse media guide as F.J. Consedine.
