Rosen would start his junior season, however by mid season he was replaced by Dick Suprunowicz. Rosen would be the hero from the bench, in a road game at Seton Hall. The Pirates led 47-40 late in the game, when Rosen would enter the game. He would hit four set shots down the stretch, as the Orangemen won 56-54.
