Comments:
Syracuse would start the game without its captain George Redlein, whom had recently had apendicitis. The Orangemen would struggle to score against the Elis.
Yale would lead at halftime 8-5. The Elis had balanced scoring with four players contributing. Captain Noyes was their top free throw shooter, and J. Murphy made three field goals.
Paul Frederick would replace David Lee in the second half, but that did not help Syracuse's socring.
Max Riehl was the only Orangeman to have a field goal. Art Powell would take all of Syracuse's free throws, and as a result would lead all scorers with 7 points.
