Comments:
The game was well played though fouled plagued due to enthusiasm by both teams. Syracuse lead 22-17 at the half. Eddie Dollard would injure his knee and have to leave the game, being replaced by Max Riehl. Colgate was a bigger, heavier team than Syracuse; the Orangemen succeeded by passing the ball exceptionally well. Art Powell and George Redlein were the stars for Syracuse. Runge was very good at making a couple long baskets for Colgate, and Knapp did exceptionally well from the free throw line.
