Bill Rugg was a starter on Syracuse's basketball team for two seasons. Rugg was described as being "tall and wily".[1]
Rugg was the second leading scorer his first season when he played center, even though he joined the team mid year. He would move to guard for his senior season.
Rugg was a law student at Syracuse.
