Bill 'Dutch' Taylor was a member of the Syracuse basketball team for three seasons, primarily as a forward.
Taylor was the captain of the freshman team his first year at Syracuse. He would be the top reserve his sophomore year playing in ten of the eighteen games. He would start in three of the early season games against Yale, NYU and Cornell.
Taylor was a member of the basketball team his junior season, but did not play in any games. He missed most of his senior season but did lead the team in scoring in his final collegiate game with 6 points against Colgate.
