William Kyle was an athletic shot blocking center for Syracuse basketball for one season.

Kyle started his collegiate career at South Dakota State. He scored a season high 20 points his freshman year in a win over Kansas City.

He scored a season high 26 points his sophomore year in a loss to Denver. He had six games with 10+ rebounds, and five blocks each against South Dakota and Kansas City.

Kyle transferred to Syracuse for his senior season. He would be one of the top shotblockers in the country averaging 2.5 blocks a game, with six blocks in the upset win over Tennessee. He was a solid rebounder, particularly on the offensive glass. Kyle had limited offensive range but he was a spectacular dunker. He had a season high 16 points in a win over Binghamton, and 16 rebounds in a double overtime win against California.
