Paddy Casey was a walk on guard for the Syracuse Orange basketball team.
Casey would play at Division II University of the Sciences in Philadelphia for three seasons, starting 74 of the 80 games he played. He would score a career high 22 points in a victory over Concordi his freshman season [1]. Casey led the team in minutes played and assists his sophomore year, and was second in the team in scoring. Casey did not play his senior season as the team did not play due to Covid-19.

Casey graduated from the University of Sciences with an undegraduate degree in Pharmaceutical and Health Care Business. He would transfer to Syracuse as a Graduate Transfer.
Casey would play one year at Syracuse as a preferred walk-on guard. Casey would play seventeen minutes in seven games and score 10 points. He would score three points against both Boston College and Lafayette, and a season high five minutes against Louisville. He was able to play four minutes against Florida State in the ACC tournament, with an assist and two points.
He was the nephew of Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey Jr and the grandson of former Pennsylvania Governor Bob Casey Sr. [2]
