Lou Beverly was a reserve forward for three seasons of Syracuse basketball.
Beverly was a decent rebounder and had a nice hook shot. He had very little playing time his sophomore and junior seasons. He did not play much his senior year either. However, starting center Dave Kline could not finish the season, so Beverly played the last five games, starting the last four. He would score 40 of his career 45 points in those five games, including a career high 15 in a 85-83 win over Colgate.
