Joe Weber was a reserve guard for Syracuse basketball for one season. He would play one game, and not score.
Weber also played soccer and baseball at Syracuse. He lettered in soccer in 1941, 1942 and 1946, and he would letter in baseball in 1942. Weber played third base for the Orangeman baseball team.
He would leave school as a result of World War II after the 1942 baseball season, and return in time for the 1945-1946 season.
He would coach the Syracuse soccer team in 1956. Unfortunately, the Orangemen would win no games under his leadership going 0-9, and he would be fired after one season.
