Joey Kohm was a walk-on forward for Syracuse basketball for two seasons.
Kohm played 4 games at the Rochester Institute Technology (RIT) for the 1983-1984 season. Kohm transferred to Syracuse with hopes of earning a spot as a walk-on, and fortunes were with him.. He would practice with the team in 1984-85 but had to sit out due to transfer rules. Kohm would play seventeen games as a walk-on and score 4 points. He would be the first Syracuse walk-on player to make a three point basket.
