Jack Curran was a forward on the Syracuse Orangemen basketball team for one season.
Curran was a starter early in his sophomore season. He would lead the Orangemen in scoring with 10 points in a victory over Michigan State. The team would struggle mid-season, and Curran would be replaced by Marc Guley in the starting lineup.
Curran would be injured in an automobile accident in October 1936. The injuries he sustained ended his collegiate athletic career [1].
