Howard Wills was a reserve for Syracuse basketball for three seasons. He was a two sport letterman, also lettering on the baseball team in 1934, where he was a right handed starting pitcher.
Wills was a prep school teammate of Syracuse's Ronnie Phillips at Cook Academy. He would travel with Phillips on an All-Star team to play in Venezuela the summer prior to coming to Syracuse University.
Wills would be a reserve guard for all three seasons, with classmates Elky Maister and Phillips locking down the starting guard positions.
Wills would graduate from Syracuse in 1934 with a degree in business. He passed away in May of 1991.
