The Syracuse Orangemen and Army Black Nights first met in 1914. Army once helds 4-1 and a 7-6 leads in the series, but the Orange have won the last five games.
The teams played regularly from 1935-1940, 1950-1958 and 1964-1974. However, they have not played since 1974.
