Chris Lewis was a reserve forward for two seasons for Syracuse basketball. He was a strong ball handler with excellent passing skills, and was able to play both the small forward and shooting guard positions.
Lewis started college at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, but left the program after his freshman season when they left Division I basketball. He would spend his sophomore season at Pensacola Junior College, before transferring to Syracuse his junior year.
