Comments:

Syracuse would meet the Connecticut Huskies in the first round of the NCAA tournament. The Orangemen would jump out to a 25 point lead in the first half, and would lead at half time 52-35. Syracuse would end up winning the game easily, despite foul trouble with five players with four fouls.
