Comments:
Syracuse and Carlisle played in a game described as "fast and furious" [1]. The game was close in the first half. Ben Tichnor led the way in the first half with 8 points. The Orangemen would have a spurt towards the end of the first half, and lead 18-12.
Tichnor would tire in the second half, and Matt Lee would pick up the pace with five baskets in the second half. He would lead all scorers with 19. Center John Kilpatrick had an injured hand which hampered his play, but he still managed to play the whole game.
Pete Houser was the star of the Carlisle team, though he was held without a field goal.
