Ethan Cole was a reserve forward for Syracuse for two seasons.
Cole started his collegiate career at the University of New Hampshire. He was a reserve his freshman year, playing in most games, but only averaging 2.6 point per game. His sophomore year, he improved dramatically, starting in every game, and averaging 12 points as the leading scorer and rebounder for the team. He was a solid free throw shooter, hitting 75% of his free throws there. He would score 389 points in his career with New Hampshire.
Cole transferred to Syracuse after his sophomore season, and sat out the 1999-2000 season due to NCAA transfer regulations. He would be a reserve for Syracuse his junior season, playing in eighteen games, but barely seeing any Big East action (only five games). He was looked upon to have a bigger impact his senior season. Early in the season he started two games. He was not able to impress the coaches, and would lose that position to Hakim Warrick. He would end up being limited to only eight games that season due to an leg injury that ended his season early (and thus his college career). He would score 423 points in his collegiate career.
