Ollie Scott was a member of the Syracuse basketball team for three seasons. Scott would start his career as a center but finish it as a guard. Scott was a high school teammate of Syracuse teammate Don Pickard.

Oliver Scott Syracuse OrangemenScott would not see much playing time his sophomore year on a team with a lot of upperclassmen. However, by his junior year he was splitting starting time at center with sophomore Ed Sonderman.

Scott would move to the starting guard position his senior year as Sonderman was becoming a star at center. Scott's scoring would decline but the team counted on his defensive capabilities. He did lead the team in scoring the first two games of the season with a career high 13 over Alfred and 12 over Penn.

Scott would have a career in foreign sales for General Motors [1].
