Nathan Malefski was a starting center for part of the 1915 Syracuse basketball team. He was considered a hard worker and a good jumper.
He would be a reserve center the next season. Malefski would be suspended for one year from playing for Syracuse basketball for playing in a professional game in Rochester in November of 1915. He would join star Elmer Keib and three other players in the suspension.
Malefski would serve in the Army for World War I.
