Guy Luciano was a guard for Syracuse basketball for one season.
Luciano would serve in the Armed Air Force in World War II. Upon coming home from the war he would enroll at Syracuse University and play basketball his freshman year as a reserve player.
Luciano would transfer from Syracuse to Holy Cross, and play basketball at Holy Cross in the 1945-1946 season. He would transfer from Holy Cross to Siena College, and play there from 1946-1947. Luciano would graduate from Siena with a degree in economics.
Luciano would spend most of his working life with the New York Life Insurance Company. He was also very active in the local Democratic party, and frequently ran, though unsuccessfully, for state congressman representing the Vestal, New York and Southern Tier area.
Luciano would pass away in August 2007.
