Eddie Lampkin was a center for Syracuse basketball. He was a terrific rebounder with a reputation for having strong post moves and excellent passing skills.
Lampkin started his collegiate career at Texas Christian. He saw little playing time his freshman year, but moved into a starting roll his sophomore year.

Lampkin would have a TCU career high 20 points and 14 rebounds in a NCAA tournament loss to Arizona in 2022.
He would transfer to Colorado for his senior season.

Lampkin would score a Colorado career high 22 points in a loss to California. He would have eleven games with 10+ rebounds. He would score 21 points with 5 assists in a NCAA tournament win over Florida.
He would come to Syracuse as a graduate transfer for his last year of eligibility. Lampkin started the season slow with back issues, but by mid season he was no longer hampered. He was the emotional leader on the team, and a workhorse rebounder with 10+ rebounds in eighteen games. He had 23 rebounds in a loss to Pitt in January, and 18 in a triple overtime win against Boston College.
Lampkin was slow afoot on defense and was not a rim protector with only 12 blocked shots. He scored a career high 26 points in a loss to North Carolina. Lampkin was named All ACC Honorable Mention.
