Danny Boyle was a walk-on for the Syracuse basketball team for one season.
Boyle would play ten games his senior season. He would score a career high 10 points in a 120-78 win over Niagara on February 21st. He shot five of ten from the field along with 2 rebounds and an assist.
Boyle originally attended the University of Miami; he transferred to Syracuse in 1977. Boyle had hoped to walk-on to the Syracuse football team, but a conversation with Dale Shackleford convinced him to try basketball [1]
