The Syracuse Orange and Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops first met in 1911, with OWU winning 39-11. The two teams did not meet again for 35 seasons until 1946, when the Orangemen won 74-47.
The two teams have not met since. Ohio Wesleyan is now a Division III school.
