Chris Jerebko was a good shooting forward for Syracuse for four seasons. Jerebko had a nice shooting touch, but lacked the rebounding skill and defense to allow him to crack Chris Jerebko Syracuse OrangemenSyracuse's starting lineup. As a freshman, Jerebko would have the dubious distinction of fouling out of the Carrier Classic in a game against LeMoyne, after playing only seven minutes.

Jerebko would play for the Boras Marbo club in Sweden for five seasons upon graduating in 1981. Upon retiring from basketball, he chose to remain in Kinne, Sweden. His younger brother Peter Jerebko, would play at LeMoyne. His son, Jonas Jerebko, was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 2009, becoming the first Swedish national basketball player ever drafted. Jonas would play for the Pistons.
