Comments:
The game was played fast and rugged. The Penn players were bigger than the Orangemen, and they used it to their advantage in the first half. Penn would lead at halftime 14-7.
The game was tight in the second at 16-10 when the Orangemen called a timeout. The team came back after the break, and immediatley started passing the ball sharply. Within a couple of minutes the Orangemen had erased Penn's lead. Art Powell made a jump shot from the middle of the floor. David Lee would then score, quickly followed by Max Riehl, and again by Lee. In a short time the Orangemen had jumped out to an 18-16 lead. The Orange would extend their lead from there, Penn started taking reckless shots, and the Orangemen would win 27-20. [1]
